OPCC Member Dan McKenna Offers Printing to Club Members

Dan McKenna (see his Meet the Photographer profile in the April 5 newsletter HERE) was inspired by last week’s OPCC Education Night presentation on printing to make a very generous offer to club members.

Dan has been printing for over 8 years using large format (24”) Epson Pro printers. He currently uses the P7000 printer, with custom profiles for his collection of papers and canvas.

Dan is willing to make prints for our members as long as each member pays for the cost of ink and paper. He will work with members to figure out that cost. Dan’s time and use of his printer would be donated as a service to the Club. Dan hopes this will get more folks interested in creating prints of their outstanding work, and once COVID ends, in organizing OPCC shows and events for the public.

Reminder - A New “Your Photo My Way” Image Has Been Posted,

Thomas Hightower’s old homestead photo from our last Member Share Night has been selected for this month’s “Your Photo My Way” editing exercise. Make your creative edits to this photo and submit the results for the May Member Share Night by Thursday April 29. For the downloadable image version and complete instructions on downloading, editing and submitting the final result click HERE. The deadline for submission of edited images is April 29.
